Discovering the Mystery

Discovering The Mystery

God's Church vs. Man's Myths

Ephesians 5:32

This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.

Ephesians 1:5

he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ,

according to the purpose of his will,

1 Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great

mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 John 3: 1-3

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children

of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

Ephesians 2: 19-22

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the

saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

Matthew 16:18

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Ephesians 5:23

For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his

body, and is himself its Savior.

Eph 2:19

Hebrews 3: 6

but Christ is faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house, if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.

holy spirit

Eph 4:3-4

being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one

body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;

Matthew 28: 19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the

name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
